Welcome to the Video Game Addiction Help Site. The Purpose of this site is to aid in helping video game addicts overcome their addiction by educating and empowering them with the necessary information needed to overcome this addiction. As a former addict I too understand what it is like to be in the grips of the virtual world; not knowing or understanding why I always feel the need to be on the game or why I even play for hours at a time. There comes a time when you must admit that you are addicted and have the guts to get off the computer (or game console) and venture out into the real world. Statistically speaking, about sixty-nine percent of the world’s population plays video games, so it is easy to see how some major problems could arise with such a large audience.
